Vogue holds a special place in hearts of many in community

Congratulations to the Vogue on its 80th anniversary. Many of us who are part of the Manistee Civic Players remember the Vogue as the place to go every Friday night when we were teenagers. It holds a special place in our hearts.

How lucky we are as a community to have the Vogue still here, continuing its tradition of bringing us great movies. Kudos to the countless volunteers who continue the tradition of the Vogue!

Manistee has a history of providing excellent entertainment in beautiful historic buildings like the Vogue and the Ramsdell Theatre, which itself is over 100 years old.

And next year — 2019 — the Manistee Civic Players will be 80 years old. We are one of the oldest continuing community theater groups in Michigan.

So we look up to you, Vogue, as a shining example of service to the cultural life of our community.

Thank you for all the memories that you continue to make.
