City to hold discussion on Rural Development project applications

MANISTEE — A general public meeting will be taking place at 7 p.m. on March 13, in the council chambers at City Hall, for a discussion on the city’s current Rural Development project applications.

The applications under discussion include sewer rehabilitation and retention treatment basin.

This Manistee City Council work session aims to provide residents an opportunity to become acquainted with proposed projects, as well as comment on items like economic and environmental impacts, service area and alternatives considered for each project.

Also during the work session is a discussion among council members on ambulance billing for city residents; a medical marijuana provisioning center; and food trucks in the city.
