Greenacre to speak at Manistee County Democratic Party meeting

MANISTEE — Debra Greenacre, executive director of the Manistee County Library, will be the guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the Manistee County Democratic Party.

The Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at the Dial-A-Ride Building at 180 Memorial Drive.

Greenacre will be speaking to future of the county-wide library system and the upcoming library renewal millage.

“I believe that providing the very best service to our library patrons and creating a welcoming environment is essential to the future of the Manistee County Library,” she said. “My goal is to increase library visibility through the county by getting out in the community and building connections, by collaborating with community organizations to provide exciting new programs inside and outside of the library.

“I’m looking forward to my new journey working for Manistee County Library, and the communities that we serve.”

The meeting is open to the public.
