The Accidentals to play at RRCA

MANISTEE — The Accidentals are coming to Manistee at 7:30 p.m. on April 14, to perform at the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts (RRCA).

For those who want to feel like a VIP, the RRCA has a contest that’s open for participants.

“You could be one of six winners to view a private acoustic performance,” stated a press release from Xavier Verna, RRCA executive director.

At the event, take selfies, get autographs and be a part of this exclusive party before the show. To enter, you must have purchased a ticket to the show, “like” and “follow” the Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts Facebook page, and sign up to receive e-news from the RRCA.

The drawing will take place this Friday.

Named among Yahoo Music’s “Top 10 Bands to Watch in 2017,” The Accidentals’ adventure began in their hometown of Traverse City, when Larson, a sophomore cellist, and Beuist, a junior violinist, were paired for a high school orchestra event. The gifted young musicians became fast friends and before long, bandmates.

Having both grown up in musical families with professional pianists for fathers and vocalists for mothers, their shared influences bounced between classical, jazz, bluegrass, country, alt-rock and the obscure.

“The Accidentals display a genre-hopping range of influences and some smart songwriting skills to go with their abundant musical chops,” Billboard Magazine once stated.

Get tickets today at or by calling (800) 836-0717. This show is sponsored by the EZ Market in Onekama and Ideal Kitchen.
