Anderson new banking center manager at Honor Bank

Anderson has banking experience in retail, business, commercial, private, and treasury management. Anderson attended NMC and earned an associate’s degree in 2006, and then transferred to Western Michigan University where he studied and taught Civil Engineering, drafting and design before attaining a bachelor’s degree in University Studies with a minor in religion and concentrations in history, engineering and mathematics. After college, he moved home and started working in the banking industry.

“We are pleased to have Max join the Honor Bank team. His background and energy will be a positive for the bank and the customers he serves,” said Mike Worden, Honor Bank CEO.

Anderson lives in Kingsley, with his wife Caitlin and daughter Evelyn. They spend most of their time traveling on the weekends and volunteering in the community. Anderson serves on the executive board of the President Ford Field Service Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Paradise Township planning commission, is the Cchair of the Northern Michigan STEM exploring program, an officer of East Bay Masonic Lodge No. 264 in Williamsburg, and sings and plays guitar in “The Drift”, a band based in Harbor Springs.
