LACA summer art exhibit shares over 70 works by area artists

LUDINGTON — More than 70 works of art created by 25 area artists will be on display in the The Ludington Area Center for the Arts’ main gallery Aug. 2 through Sept. 29.

“Summer Art Exhibit 2018” includes ceramics, furniture, fiber art, photography, paintings and drawings juried by the center’s Visual Arts Critique Group.

Artist taking part in the exhibit are, Michele Anscombe, Karen Antrim, Kathlene Barrett, Kristine Campbell, Pat Carney, Lauara Carter, Mike Coleman, Chuck de la Durantaye, Karen de la Durantaye, Paula DeGregorio, Scott Frederickson, Barbara Forgue, Carolyn Forsyth, Frank Galante, Sandra Goodrich, Justin David Gustafson, Lynne Haslam, Brian Kainulainen, Tom Kleinfeldt, Elizabeth LeVee, Carol Marshall, Heidi Pell, Marion Riedl, Linda Sandow and Andrew Skinner.

A free public reception honoring the artists will be take place from 5-7 p.m. on Aug. 3.
