Story and art tour with Jenifer Strauss at Art Park

THOMPSONVILLE – The public is invited to engage in a unique, all-ages experience at Michigan Legacy Art Park on Aug. 26.

Join Storyteller and Michigan Humanities Touring Artist, Jenifer Strauss for an interactive and interpretive tour that will combine Story and Art. Become immersed in Michigan legends and lore while learning about what inspired the artists whose sculptures are featured at the park.

Strauss is a speaker, narrative consultant and writer who helps educators, organizations and individuals use STORY to connect, communicate and achieve their goals. She created her business Story Be told in 1993, and has been enriching over 300 audiences a year with her own unique brand of energy-injected performances, workshops, trainings and keynotes.

This tour is free with park admission. Tours take approximately 1.5 hours along nearly two miles of rustic and hilly trails.

Michigan Legacy Art Park is a nonprofit organization with a mission to enrich lives through experiences that connect art, nature and Michigan’s history. The Art Park features 50 outdoor sculptures along nearly two miles of hiking trails on a 30-acre forest preserve, located on the grounds of Crystal Mountain.
