Manistee Rotary Club receives certificate for Outstanding Service

MANISTEE — Now approaching 100 years in existence, the Manistee Rotary Club continues to contribute to the improvement of the area.

The Manistee Rotary Club was recently presented with a certificate for Outstanding Service by Rotary District No. 6290.

The club meets twice a month for an hour at lunchtime, and community-minded individuals are very welcome.

Projects the club facilitates include an annual mission trip to the Dominican Republic, scholarships and leadership training for local graduates, participation in the Community Table meals at St. Joseph’s, and several public recreation areas including Rotary Park at First Street Beach.
