MANISTEE — The Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts (RRCA) celebrates the life and beautiful artwork of late Manistee County artist, Pat Lottie with a retrospective show in Hardy Hall open Oct. 6 to Nov. 11.

A special reception for friends, family, fellow artists and anyone who would like to be introduced to her impressive body of work will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Oct. 6, with refreshments and hors-d’oeuvres provided by the RRCA.

Pat was active in her community. She was president of the Manistee Art Institute, a founding member of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Manistee County, and member of the Manistee Fine Arts Group, Ramsdell Building Governance Board and Manistee Beautification Committee.

Though Pat’s life in creating and supporting art was well known to the Manistee area, her husband Glenn expressed a regret that she had never had a showing at the Ramsdell. So, to honor her memory, he, along with artists Ken Cooper and Bill Hattendorf, is assembling a show that will feature more than 92 of her original works along with a recreation of her studio “workspace.” For questions, call Glenn at (231) 477-5627.

You may also reach the RRCA at (231) 398-9770.
