ACA to honor Carol Voigts at Icebreaker event

BROWN Twp. — The Manistee Arts and Culture Alliance (ACA) will be honoring Carol Voigts  during their annual icebreaker event at 5 p.m. on Saturday at the Brown Town Hall.

The evening will feature dinner and conversation from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. followed by a sharing time of stories and statements.

Every year the Arts and Cultural Alliance hold this Icebreaker event and this year they are want to show Carol their appreciation for all she has done to enhance the community. She is one of the founding members of the Arts and Cultural Alliance.

People are encouraged to bring something of Carol’s to display one of her paintings, poems or a photograph or two. There will be boards to which people can attach paper items and slips of paper with messages.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring their own table service and something they like to eat to share. The ACA will provide paper cups, bowls, plates, napkins and hotcups.
