Water Restoration and Community Vibrancy Forum rescheduled for Jan. 24

MANISTEE — How have waterfront improvements impacted your community? More access, new recreation activities, growing business opportunities — these are just some of the impacts of water restoration and development projects in Manistee.

Join Michigan State University and the Office of the Great Lakes Water Restoration Research Team to hear what they have learned about the relationship between water restoration and community vibrancy in the local community, help identify other important indicators of vibrancy and envision ways to put these ideas into action.

The session is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. to noon on Jan. 24 at the Days Inn, located at 1462 Manistee Highway in Manistee. Snacks will be provided.
