Special Olympics Polar Plunge slated for Traverse City

TRAVERSE CITY — The 2019 Michigan Law Enforcement’s Polar Plunge for Special Olympics will take place at North Peak Brewing Company/Kilkenny’s Irish Pub in Traverse City on Feb. 2.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.

Benzie Central student athletes and coaches from the football program and the varsity girls basketball team plan to participate.

Players, staff and supporters of the Benzie Central football program have taken great pride over the years committing themselves to community service and participating for the third straight year, this year challenging members of the varsity girls basketball team to join them in the plunge.
