LUDINGTON — Ludington’s famed West Shore Art Fair (WSAF) will return to downtown Ludington’s Rotary Park July 6-7 for its 51st year.

The WSAF has been known as on the top fine art fairs in the State of Michigan over the last 50 years and for the past four years has been recognized as one of Sunshine Artist Magazine’s 200 Best Fine Art and Fine Craft Fairs. In 2018 Sunshine Artist Magazine named the WSAF the 31st best fine art fair in the nation.

This year’s art fair will feature over 115 artists featuring unique and high-quality original works of art. Fine art categories include clay, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, metals, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking and wood.

In addition to original, jury-selected art, the show features live music performances, food stations and a children’s art activity area.

This open-air, juried fine art and fine crafts show is managed by Andrew Skinner of the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, a community arts organization that cultivates access to arts and culture in West Michigan.

The West Shore Art Fair hours of operation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 6 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 7.

A lot goes into organizing the WSAF and volunteer positions are still available. Anyone interested in volunteering at the art fair this summer should visit www.signupgenius.com/go/20f094aaead22a0f94-west4.
