Andy and Nancy Anderson celebrate 62nd wedding anniversary

MANISTEE — Andy and Nancy Anderson celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on June 15, 2019. They had their marriage blessed at Guardian Angels Church, where they were also married 62 years ago.

This took place right after the marriage of their granddaughter, Kylie Bauman to Michael Kepes. The newly married couple chose the wedding date in honor of their grandparents.

Andy and Nancy Anderson also enjoyed a wedding celebration at LakeStar Farms along with cutting a wedding cake and they danced to, “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” as the longest married couple at their granddaughter and new grandson’s wedding.

They have four children: Julie (Scott) Schmeling, Rick Anderson, both of Manistee, and the late Kelly McKenna, and Jill Anderson.

They also have 10 grandchildren: Elise (John) Chalko, Ashley Bauman, Kylie (Michael) Kepes, Samantha (Mark) Horney, Mallory Anderson, Austin (Haley) McKenna, Alex, and Allison McKenna, Shane (Allison) Anderson, and Mitchell Anderson. They have two great grandsons: Anderson and Hudson Chalko.
