MANISTEE — Kylie Noelle Bauman and Michael John Kepes were married June 15, 2019, at Guardian Angels Church in Manistee, with Father Pablo Martinez officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Scott and Julie Schmeling and the late Michael Bauman, of Manistee. The groom is the son of John and Joyce Kepes, of Allen Park.

The bride was escorted by her mother and step dad. She wore an ivory gown of lace and tulle with a lace-covered sweetheart bodice and her mother in-law’s pearl earrings. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses and calla lilies. The groom escorted his parents to their seats. He was dressed in a grey tuxedo with ivory and yellow accents.

The bridesmaids were Elise Chalko and Ashley Bauman, sisters of the bride, Marisa Kepes, sister of the groom, Nina Iafrate and Hayley Bonn, friends of the bride. The groomsmen were friends of the groom Brittney Darcy, Annemarie Hayes, Ryan Squires, Nick Kudla and Dillon Braun. The ushers were Matthew Bauman and Joshua Bauman, brothers of the bride, and Adam Dontz, close family friend of the bride.

Following a reception at LakeStar Farms, the couple left for a honeymoon to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. The couple is residing in Allendale.

The bride is a graduate of Manistee High School in 2013 and Grand Valley State University in 2017, and is employed as the office coordinator for Allendale Meadows-Sun Communities. The groom is a graduated from Allen Park High School in 2014 and Grand Valley State University in 2019, and is employed at Tiara Yachts in Holland as a continuous improvement specialist.
