A steady stream of salmon

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources, in partnership with the Manistee County Sportfishing Association, released about 52,000 salmon into the Onekama channel on Wednesday morning with an audience of about 25 others. The fish are deposited into various bodies of water each throughout Manistee County year in an effort to develop the local fishery.
