For the seniors, the win marked the end of their final home and regular season with the Huskies, who look to make a deep run in the upcoming playoffs.

“It was a great way for our seniors, Katelyn Nordbeck, Katherin Hill, Emma Husoey, Charlotte Warsecke and Mariah Hanson, to end their regular season,” Ross said. “We had a great home crowd and we appreciate the community support.”

Benzie’s postseason run will begin in districts at 5:30 p.m. today at Ludington. The Huskies will face Manistee.
