Take a kid fishing

FREE FISHING FUN: This year's Take a Kid Fishing event is set for this weekend. On Friday, kids can hunt down nightcrawlers at dusk at Mineral Springs Park in Frankfort; then 8 a.m. on Saturday, children can take their bait down to the water at Rotary Park on Betsie Bay. COLLECTION: Proud fishermen stand by their catch at Betsie Bay. This summer, the bay will be the spot for the first ever Battle For the Betsie fishing competition. The top 10 total weights for the competitors will earn cash prizes.

Motorcycle Ride raises money for cancer research
