BRHS theater to present ‘Little Women’ this week

BIG RAPIDS — Louisa May Alcott’s classic “Little Women” will come to life on the stage of Big Rapids High School auditorium this week.

Students in the BRHS Theatrical Arts program spent many weeks rehearsing for the production, which opens on Thursday. Julie Stephens will appear as a guest actress in the role of Marmee, alongside the student cast that plays the rest of the characters.

Performances are set for 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 and Friday, Nov. 15 and for 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16. Tickets, which cost $10 for adults and $8 for students, will be available at the door or from cast and crew members.
