GIFT BAGS: Members and volunteers of the Big Rapids Eagles Ladies Auxiliary worked to raise money and collect donations to put together gift bags for students at the Mecosta-Osceola Intermediate School District. The student recipients, due to their current living situations, qualify as homeless under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act. They are part of the local Families in Transition program. This year the auxiliary filled 23 bags for local teens, earning the appreciation of students and MOISD staff members. (Courtesy photo)
