New sandals given to people in need

Shoe Giveaway

DONATE IN STYLE: Fabulous Finds assistant manager Tanya Morris, manager Sharon Frederick, The Sole owner Emily Robison and Noat Shoes sales representative Ann Wingrove hold pairs of Noat sandals that were being given away for free to local people in need. Due to the partnership between The Sole and Noat Shoes, one hundred pairs were donated to women through Project Starburst, WISE, the homeless shelter and the Big Rapids Housing Commission. The sandals came in all sizes, colors and styles.

“This is the most rewarding part of working for this brand,” Wingrove said in between helping ladies of all ages find a pair they loved. (Pioneer photo/Karin Armbruster)
