Baltimore Ravens sign ex-U-M running back Fitz Toussaint

BALTIMORE — Former Michigan running back Fitz Toussaint is going to get a chance with an NFL team this summer.

The undrafted rookie signed with the Baltimore Ravens Thursday, joining a backfield that includes Ray Rice, Bernard Pierce and Justin Forsett.

Toussaint’s best season came his sophomore year, rushing for 1,041 yards and 9 touchdowns as the Wolverines went on to win the Sugar Bowl.

Though he averaged just 3.5 yards per carry his senior season, Toussaint ended up with 648 yards and 13 touchdowns to go along with 203 receiving yards.
