Bowling tournament to support Mid-Michigan Honor Flight

REMUS — Mid-Michigan Honor Flight needs bowlers to help send veterans to Washington D.C. in 2015.

Honor Flight is a national organization that sends veterans to the nation’s capital to view national monuments dedicated to their service free of charge.

The benefit tournament will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Remus Bowling Center, 356 W. Wheatland Ave., in Remus.

Organizers are seeking participants to bowl individually, or to join five and six person teams. Bowlers will bowl four games with a 3-6-9 No Tap format. There will be prize drawings, door prizes and 50/50 raffle drawings after each game. People do not need to bowl to participate in the raffle and are invited to come out to support the program.

All proceeds go to the Mid-Michigan Honor Flight’s spring flight. For more information, call (989) 967-8251.
