11.7 F and F Lions give dictionaries

LIONS DONATE DICTIONARIES: The Big Rapids Lions Club is working to help future leaders develop by providing dictionaries to third-graders throughout Big Rapids. Lions Jackie and Dick Perrin spearheaded the effort to deliver more than 260 dictionaries in October and early November to students enrolled in Brookside, Riverview, St. Mary’s, St. Peter’s, Big Jackson and Crossroads Charter Academy elementary schools. Also assisting in the effort were Lions Brian Miller, Bob Clark, Mary Clark, Jerry Nichols, Tony Rutledge, Grant Blakely and Bruce Fredrick. (Courtesy photo)
