WILLIAM MARTIN, SR.: Liquor should not be sold on Sunday

In response to lifting the ban on selling liquor on Sunday:

Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth shall descend into it. Isaiah 5:11-13:14

Beware! My friend, God’s day is to be kept holy!

Many of us that are older have seen when there were no businesses open on God’s day and sin was not like it is today. Sunday is fun day. People eat out, they shop, they play sports, they run to and fro, they desecrate the Lord’s day to please themselves. What a horrible condition people are in today!

For we must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ: that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. II Corinthians 5:10 KJV

And it will happen in a moment!
