Folk Fest music featured in Evart this weekend

EVART — Folk Fest is back for its 15th year at Summer Concert Series in Evart this weekend.

The two-day event will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday at the Evart Depot with a variety of performers sharing the spotlight.

On Saturday, Anne Hills, Matt Watroba, White Water, Red Tail Ring and Robert Jones will perform from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Evart Depot. In case of rain, the performances will take place inside of Crossroads Community Church across from the depot building.

The Evart Farmer’s Market also will be available to visitors on Saturday morning.

The schedule is as follows:

  • From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 14 — David Gerald Blues at the Evart Depot
  • From 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 18 — Wildcat Block Party on Main Street
  • From 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 22 — Rock ‘N’ Roll 70s Show at the Evart Depot
