Three fire departments combat Morley structure fire

MORLEY — No residents or pets were injured, however a fire Friday was a total loss for a family of five. The Red Cross has been contacted to provide assistance.

The Morley Township Fire Department was called to a structure fire on Eisenhower Road in Morley around 11 a.m. on Friday.

The fire was caused by an outdoor woodstove placed against a single-wide mobile home, according to Chief Dan Deyo. The Mecosta-Austin and Howard City fire departments also provided assistance at the scene, he added.
