POLICE BLOTTER: Officers responded to reported breaking and entering, find tenant

BIG RAPIDS — Big Rapids Department of Public Safety officers responded to the following calls on Wednesday. All calls might not be reported.

  • Police assisted firefighters at 2:13 p.m. on the 300 block of Locust Street.
  • Officers received a report of a vehicle accident at 3:38 p.m. on Bronson Avenue.
  • Officers received a report of a vehicle accident at 5:39 p.m. on the 1200 block of Perry Avenue.
  • Police performed a well-being check at 6:16 p.m. on the 1100 block of Fuller Avenue. Officers found everything was fine.
  • Officers received a report of a domestic incident between a man and woman. Through investigation, police found the incident appeared to have occurred two days prior in Rogers Heights.
  • Police received a report of a breaking-and-entering in progress on the 400 block of South Warren Avenue. Officers discovered the subject inside the apartment lived there.
