JIM CREES: So, who is talking about Hillary?

Although it appears I’m a member of the “disgusting media” churning out “fake news” on a daily basis, I do have a news flash I think is vitally important to Pres. Donald Trump and his supporters.

(Drum roll, please.)

Hillary Clinton did not win the election!

Donald Trump did… he won.

Donald Trump is President of these United States.

Hillary Clinton is not.

Clinton is safe and warm at home in Chappaqua, New York. She probably wakes up each morning and puts the coffee on while wearing her fluffy bunny slippers and a comfy bathrobe.

Hillary did not win.

Trump did.

He is in the White House.

So both he and his supporters can finally stop considering Hillary a threat.

She’s done.

He won.

I admit it. I’ll say it again and again. Shout it from the rooftops.

Trump won.

Not Hillary.

So Trump and all his Twitter and Facebook buddies can stop hacking away at Hillary and get to work.

She is a non-function.

He needs to buck it up, start working normally and stop worrying about his campaign.

He isn’t campaigning any more… or shouldn’t be.

He’s the president.

Still, in his most recent press conference (that amazingly disjointed and rambling opportunity to inform the American public the REAL enemy is the press!) Trump felt a need to dump on Hillary.

“I don’t know that I’m going to get along with Vladimir Putin,” he said. “I hope I do. But there’s a good chance I won’t. And if I don’t, do you honestly believe that Hillary would be tougher on Putin than me? Does anybody in this room really believe that? Give me a break.”

Who was talking about Hillary!!??!!

Nobody answered the president’s hypothetical question because everyone in the room knew and understood Hillary Clinton was not a concern — except to Trump.

She did not win.

It would appear only Donald Trump is still unsure of this fact.

On occasion he trots out the old dog that Clinton “gave” Russia 20 percent of the uranium in the United States stockpiles.

She did not… and could not.

Clinton was one out of nine officials voting on approval of the deal. Actually there was no way she could have stopped the agreement on her own… even if she wanted to do so.

And the deal did not involve 20 percent of the U.S. uranium stockpile, but rather 20 percent of the country’s production capacity.

Just one misleading statement after another about a foe who is no longer in the running.

While Clinton is restocking her bird feeders and perusing seed catalogs, Trump and his supporters continue to worry about her.

She really hurts him.

“This Russian connection non-sense [sic] is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton’s losing campaign,” Trump recently Tweeted.

Indeed, Mr. President.

She lost.

This means someone else won.

So… let’s try to focus on the task at hand.

Try, for the love of everything holy and patriotic, to run this country without blaming every stumble and fumble on Hillary Clinton and the media.

Even FOX News is getting tired of the silliness.

Following the above-mentioned news conference, Fox commentator Shep Smith said on air,

“It’s crazy what we’re watching every day. It’s absolutely crazy. He keeps repeating ridiculous, throwaway lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question.

“Your opposition was hacked and the Russians were responsible for it and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening and we’re fools for asking the questions?

“No sir.”

“We have a right to know,” Smith continued. “You call us fake news and put us down like children for asking questions on behalf of the American people.”

Of course, immediately the Fox viewership was outraged and have been threatening to “Never watch Fox again…”

Why not? If the leader of the free world can blame everyone, but EVERYONE for his mess, why shouldn’t his followers do the same?

Look, folks.

I want to help Pres. Trump focus on the task at hand — the job of governance.

It’s my country too!

So, if someone could get this message to him, I’d appreciate it.

President Trump,

The race is over. You won.

Hillary is hiking the trails around Chappaqua. Obama is sail-surfing in the Caribbean.

The presidency thing?

It’s all yours.

Crooked Hillary can’t touch you. The Kenyan is having too good a time in the islands to care what you say about him.

The campaign is over and you won the game.

Stop with the paranoia and get down to work.
