BIG RAPIDS — A few days remain to vote for different Michigan-based nonprofit organizations during Mercantile Bank’s Giving Together program.

Giving Together program is a way for the bank to give back to the communities it serves, its website states. Nonprofit organizations, including Angels of Action and God’s Helping Hands of Mecosta County, applied for a chance to be considered for a donation decided by the public during a week-long voting period.

The top three vote-receiving organizations will be awarded as follows, with first place receiving a $5,000 donation from Mercantile Bank, second place will receive a $1,500 donation and $500 will be donated to third place.

Voters can decide which nonprofit organization they feel should receive a donation by visiting the Facebook page and click on the Giving Together post. Voters can then click on the nonprofit’s logo. Voting ends Monday, Nov. 20.
