Morley Stanwood 45, Holton 35

HOLTON — The Mohawks (9-8) led at halftime 20-14 and were led by Brooke Brauher with 16 points, 10 rebounds and six steals, Bethany Elenbaas with 12 points, three rebounds and seven steals and Breanna Berry with seven points, 16 rebounds and three steals for the Mohawks who are home with Kent City on Friday.


Chippewa Hills 58, Tri County 42

REMUS — Jack Frebes scored 19 points for Chippewa Hills (5-10, 3-7), followed by Seth McKenzie with 15 points and Davonte Caldwell with 10 in this CSAA Gold battle. The Warriors are at Grant on Friday.

Reed City 83, Grant 81 (OT)

REED CITY — Reed City (8-7, 6-4) scored on a Cody Kailing drive with one second left in overtime for Friday’s two-point overtime win. It was 37-37 at halftime and 58-52 after the third quarter. Karsten Koopman had 31 points, followed by Kailing with 18, Zac Saez with 12 and Phillip Jones with 10.

Reed City is at Tri County on Tuesday.

McBain 65, Pine River 54

McBain — The Ramblers led 35-18 at halftime on their way to a win. Sasha Huffman led the Bucks with 11 points and Lane Ruppert and Marcus Jurik scored 10 points apiece. Elijah Lewis added nine.

The Bucks (2-10,) face Roscommon Tuesday on the road.

Morley Stanwood 73, Holton 40

HOLTON — The Mohawks led 35-25 at halftime and built on that lead in the second half.

Landon Elenbaas led the team with 17 points and Carson Brauher had 14 points, while Aiden McLaughlin added 12.

The Mohawks knocked down 13 3-pointers and tallied 20 assists on 26 made baskets.

Morley Stanwood (13-2,  7-1) faces Beal City Tuesday on the road.


Big Rapids 8, Cheboygan 0

The Cardinals outshot Cheboygan 34-18 on their way to a mercy win.

Fletcher Bolda picked up his second straight shutout.

The Cardinals face Petoskey today at 2 p.m.
