Postal workers collect more than two tons of food

United States Postal Workers assigned to the Big Rapids Annex office pose for a photo behind the food collected during the the 26th annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive last Saturday. Postal employees in Big Rapids collected 2,771 pounds; Morley, 500 pounds; and Stanwood, 1,500 pounds, for a total of 4,771 pounds of food which will be distributed to area food banks.
