REMUS — Chippewa Hills track team had two all-state efforts in the Division 2 state track and field finals on Saturday.

Hannah Todd was sixth in the 400 with a career personal best of 59.49. The 4×400 meter relay took third in 4:06.42 with Emily Fredrich, Hannah Fiegel, Dez Shaw and Todd.

“We had a really good day,” Chippewa Hills coach Sally Schafer said. “The 4×400 relay was seeded 15th going in and wound up third. All of our events did well.”

Logan Williams of Big Rapids was seventh in the 800 (1:58.50).

In the Division 3 meet for Morley Stanwood, Aiden McLaughlin was eighth in 4:28. The Mohawks were fourth in the 4×800 relay in 8:08.12 with McLaughlin, Kevin McNeil, Kyle Robinette and Daniel Pascual.

In Division 4 for Crossroads. freshman Natalie Chapman was 10th in the 300 hurdles in a new school record time of 49.40. The 4×400 relay team of Amber Poortvliet, Logan Atchison, Jaylen Schroeder, and Natalie Chapman finished 13th in a new school record of 4:26.94.

“I was extremely pleased with how our athletes were able to come up with their best performances of the season of  the biggest stage,” coach Ben Talsma said.
