Cabrera had a walk in the first inning will be charged with a strikeout on the at-bat finished by Goodrum.

Cabrera missed three games with a left biceps spasm earlier this season, then went on the disabled list with a hamstring strain.

Cabrera entered the game with 2,676 hits, one shy of tying Luis Aparicio for 72nd on the all-time hit list in Major League Baseball.

Cabrera came into the game batting .301 with 11 doubles, three home runs and 22 RBIs over 37 games.
