EVART — The regular season for football only has two weeks remaining and the Evart Wildcats would like to end with two straight wins.

The Wildcats started out the season with a 30-26 win over Fremont but has lost six straight and they are looking to get back on the right track when they play at White Cloud on Friday.

Donavin Reagan, a junior tight end/defensive end has been having success this season and hopes to help the Wildcats win their last two and finish at 3-6.

It’s his second year on varsity and he’s starting both ways as he did last year.

“I’m doing a lot better this year,” he said. “I’m going to the ball and catching it. Catching the ball (is a strength).”

Reagan said he would like to improve on his blocking.

A key highlight was a one-handed catch against Manton. He used his right hand for the 23-yard catch.

On defense, his anticipation to the ball has been strong.

Blocking will be a key in upcoming games.

“A lot of plays come down to one block, one block is all that we miss,” he said.
