Wee Wonders explores nature through art

Dozens of children learned about the “Wonderful World” of nature through art projects during Wee Wonders on Saturday at the Big Rapids Public Safety building. From weaving patterns on stick frames, making photo frames with squares of fabric and creating mosaics with various dry beans, pine cones and pine needles, kids had several different ways to unleash their creativity. There also was a glitter station and a chalk activity. (Pioneer photos/Shanna Avery)
