Osceola County MARSP hosting human trafficking presentation on June 4

HERSEY — Residents from Osceola County can learn more about the dangers of human trafficking early next month.

The Osceola County Chapter of MARSP (Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel) is inviting residents to attend a presentation on human trafficking at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, at the Hersey United Methodist Church, 200 W. Second St.

Human trafficking, the trade of humans for the purpose of forced labor, sexual slavery or commercial sexual exploitation for the trafficker or others, is a growing problem for many areas throughout the state and country. MARSP is offering the presentation to help inform residents about the subject.
