Former Ferris State QB passes away at 33

BIG RAPIDS — Former Ferris State football player Kyle Parrish has tragically passed away at the age of 44.

The quarterback played at Ferris State in 2008-09 after playing for Compton Junior College for two years.

Parrish tallied 2,392 total yards of offense in 19 games as a Bulldog, including a game in which he set the school record for total offense with 477 yards. He totaled nine touchdowns over the course of his Bulldogs career.

Parrish spent some time  with the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League before retiring from professional football.
