Summer Evening of Harmony provides night of music, fun

BIG RAPIDS — Artworks was filled with the sounds of music and excitement Thursday evening during the annual Summer Evening of Harmony.

The event combined a wine and appetizer reception in the Batdorff Gallery at Artworks with musical performances throughout the evening.

Entertainment for the event included music by the Canadian Lakes Men’s Chorus and two Michigan-based quartets, Upper Deck and Cole’s Minors.

A Summer Evening of Harmony also showcased comedian Brian Atkinson and scenes from STAGE-M’s upcoming musical, “Little Shop of Horrors.”
