Churches celebrate Christmas with special services

OSCEOLA COUNTY — Churches across the county will host special services for the celebration of Christmas.

Below is a list of churches and their respective Christmas schedules:

Evart

Calvary Baptist Church, 636 N. Oak St.

  • A candlelight Christmas Eve service will begin at 7 p.m.

Crossroads Community Church, 110 S. Main St.

  • Christmas-themed service will take place at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, and Sunday, Dec. 21.
  • A candlelight Christmas Eve service will take place at 7 p.m. There is no Christmas Day service.

Evart United Methodist Church, 619 N. Cherry

  • A candlelight Christmas Eve service will begin at 7 p.m. There is no service on Christmas Day.

Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 9878 U.S. 10

  • A Christmas Eve Mass will begin at 4 p.m. There is no service on Christmas Day.

Hersey

Hersey United Methodist Church, 200 W. 2nd St.

  • A live nativity and Christmas program will take place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21.
  • A candlelight Christmas Eve service will begin at 7 p.m.

LeRoy

LeRoy Evangelical Covenant Church, 201 Cherry St.

  • A candlelight Christmas Eve service will take place at 5 p.m.

Marion

St. Agnes Catholic Church, 603 E. Main St.

  • A Christmas Eve Mass will begin at 7 p.m.
  • A Christmas Day Mass will begin at 9 a.m.

Reed City

Reed City United Methodist Church, 503 S. Chestnut St.

  • Christmas Eve services will take place at 5 and 10 p.m. There is no service on Christmas Day.

Reed City First Baptist Church, 4151 Wild Turkey Trail

  • A children’s Christmas program will take place at 11 a.m. and The Walker Family will perform at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21. There are no services on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.

Trinity Lutheran Church, 19778 U.S. 10

  • Christmas Eve services will take place at 7 and 11 p.m.
  • A Christmas Day service will begin at 10 a.m.

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 435 W. 5th

  • Christmas Eve services will take place at 5 and 7 p.m.
