REED CITY – The last Reed City boys basketball team to win a regional championship will be honored on its 25th anniversary on Friday.

The 1992-93 team, which won the regional 25 years ago, will be recognized at halftime of the Reed City-Central Montcalm basketball game.

JJ Eads, the current boys varsity coach, was a member of that team along with others including Chad Bronson, Jesse Kailing, Andre LeBaron, Ryan Taylor, Brian Smith, Craig Comer and Jeff Gerould.

“It sounds like eight of the 12 guys will make it back,” Eads said. “Hopefully more. We’ll do a quick thing at halftime to honor the guys who were on the team.”

The coach of the team was Earl Bronson.
