BALDWIN — The Pioneer Group announced today the hiring of its new Lake County Star reporter, Joe Martinez.
Martinez is a graduate of Central Michigan University and a native of Mount Clemens. He and his fiance, Courtney, are excited to get to know the residents of the greater Lake County community.
"We are very excited to welcome Joe to the Lake County Star. He will be covering local government, local school news, and all the other exciting events and issues in the Baldwin area. The Pioneer's Whitney Gronski-Buffa will continue to cover all crime and court news for the Pioneer Group newspapers. And you also will continue to see the great writing of Jim Crees," said Dave Clark, Executive Editor, Pioneer Group.
