BALDWIN — Residents of Grand Oaks Nursing Center are feeling thankful this holiday season.
Robert Marcotte is thankful for family and friends. Lorraine Sloan also is thankful for family.

“I am thankful for my wife coming here and spending Thanksgiving with me,” he said, adding his wife drove all the way from Bridgeman.
Ken Kaufman said he was thankful for Bingo and having a warm place to live.
Donna Pitre said her kids are her world, and they make sure she has everything she needs.
Joanne Matik is thankful for God.

Betty Grzybowski said she is grateful for her family.
“My kids come and bring me so much stuff I don’t know what to do with it all,” she said.
Denise Lodholtz, who is a staff member, also is thankful.
“God is so good,” she said. “I am thankful for my wonderful family, friends, workplace and co-workers.”
